Brief Description
The successful apprentice will support teaching and learning by leading small intervention groups, assisting on school trips, supervising playground activities, and working toward a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Vacancy Detail
- Work collaboratively with teachers, leaders, HLTAs, and teaching assistants under the direction of the Headteacher
- Foster pupil participation in both social and academic activities by recognizing individual needs, implementing appropriate responses, and encouraging independence
- Deliver and review learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes, ensuring alignment with best practices and national guidelines
- Support pupils’ development through effective strategies, modifying resources as needed, and contributing to planning and evaluation of teaching and learning activities
- Promote positive behaviour by implementing a fair and consistent behaviour management strategy and reinforcing positive actions
- Provide literacy and numeracy support to enable access to the wider curriculum, while monitoring progress and addressing challenges
- Safeguard pupil welfare by recognizing signs of abuse, following procedures, and addressing concerns sensitively and appropriately
- Build positive relationships with pupils, supporting their emotional, social, and behavioural needs, including transitions and personal care
- Assist pupils with English as an additional language and adapt strategies to support their progress
