Working Week: The branch opening times are 8.30am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and 9.00am - 12.00pm, Saturday. Saturdays to be worked on a rota basis.
Brief Description
Based in a community pharmacy you will be employed as an Apprentice Dispenser. We are looking for a confident individual with good customer service skills to secure employment with us and progress their career in Pharmacy.
Training to be Provided
- Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- Training will take place at the workplace- no need to travel to a college
Future Prospects
- Working as a permanent member of the pharmacy team
- Opportunity to complete Level 2 Pharmacy Assistant qualifications and for the right candidate, an opportunity to work towards Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship

Our community-based Pharmacy in Whitefield Manchester is hoping to recruit a determined individual as an Apprentice Pharmacy Dispenser.
Duties include:
- Dispensing medications under supervision
- General admin
- Serving patients over the counter
- Using the shop till
- Dealing with over the counter and telephone queries
- Using the pharmacy computer system
- Dealing with stock deliveries
- Stock management
- Ensuring pharmacy shop shelves are replenished
- Date checking of stock
- Processing NHS prescriptions
- General shop cleaning and maintenance

Standing for the majority of your working day. Being able to lift boxes of incoming stock.
