Brief Description
Grace Dental - Skinnergate Practice are seeking a hardworking Dental Nurse to join their team. As an apprentice dental nurse, you will help out around the surgery cleaning instruments and customer care alongside some admin duties. You will be supporting patients, maintaining patient records & preparing equipment for dental surgery.
Training to be Provided
- Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship
- 1-day per week to attend class at Middlesbrough College
Future Prospects
- Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available

Full job description:
- Setting up & closing down of surgery
- Assisting dentist/hygienist in clinical procedures
- Providing chairside assistance
- Decontamination of instruments
- Ensuring all relevant materials and supplies are in place
- Maintaining patient’s clinical records (during exams etc.)
- Prepare instruments for procedures
- Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene/cross-infection control (according to guidelines)
- Follow all practice protocols and procedures
