Brief Description

The programme combines formal study with on-the-job learning and training, at the end of which you may be offered a permanent position with Raymond James. You will study for the CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice qualification. 

Training to be Provided

As part of this apprenticeship, the apprentice will study the Foundation Certificate in People Practice accredited by the CIPD.


Apprentices will be required to attend a series of workshops to study 4 mandatory modules:



  • Business, Culture and Change in Context

  • Principles of Analytics

  • Core Behaviours for People Professionals

  • Essentials of People Practice


HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:



  • You will also receive full training and support from the apprenticeship team to increase your skills

  • Your training will include gaining a Level 3 HR Support qualification

  • Providing day-to-day team support, helping to keep processes running smoothly and efficiently

  • Coordinating meetings, managing Outlook diaries, and ensuring everything is organised and on track

  • Supporting team projects and contributing ideas to improve ways of working

  • Collaborating with colleagues across different departments to understand how the business connects

  • Acting as a reliable point of contact within your team for queries and coordination

  • Preparing documents such as presentations, reports, and meeting materials

  • Managing correspondence, including emails and phone enquiries

  • Maintaining accurate records using internal systems

  • Supporting with data gathering and liaising with third-party providers

  • Building your understanding of financial services processes, including regulatory requirements


Requirements:



  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4, including English and maths

  • A willingness to learn and to develop new skills

  • A professional, methodical, and organised approach, with good time management

  • Good attention to detail particularly with written information

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge when appropriate

  • A good working knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
