- The apprenticeship supports the development of leadership, management, and operational skills required to take on increased responsibility within the setting
Vacancy Detail
As a Trainee Deputy Manager, the apprentice will play a key role in supporting the leadership and day‑to‑day running of the nursery while completing a Level 5 Early Years Lead Apprenticeship.
The apprentice will:
- Support the Deputy Manager and Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of the setting
- Lead rooms or practice areas to ensure high‑quality teaching, learning, and care
- Support and mentor staff, apprentices, and students
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are met at all times
- Help plan, implement, and review the early years curriculum in line with the EYFS
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Contribute to staff supervision, team meetings, and continuous improvement
- Support with compliance, inspections, and quality assurance processes
- Complete all apprenticeship training, assessments, and coursework alongside their role
