Brief Description
Become part of an innovative engineering team working at the forefront of ultra-low temperature freezer technology. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product development while contributing to the testing and prototyping of equipment used in critical scientific and medical environments worldwide.
Training to be Provided
- This apprenticeship includes day release at Chelmsford College once per week

Vacancy Detail
- Assist in the development and testing of prototype systems
- Learn the engineering principles and requirements behind advanced freezer technology
- Help design and build test conditions and setups, including jigs, fixtures, and environmental simulations
- Conduct data gathering, analysis, and reporting to accurately replicate real-world customer usage
- Collaborate with design engineers to refine prototypes and validate performance
- Use tools, instrumentation, and lab equipment to support hands-on experimentation and testing
