Brief Description
Join TaxAssist Accountants, a leading Chartered Practice and a proud member of a national network. As an Accounts Assistant Apprentice, you’ll gain invaluable experience across a spectrum of financial tasks while receiving mentorship from our team of seasoned professionals.
Training to be Provided
- The apprentice will undertake the Level 2 Accounting or Ffinance Assistant apprenticeship
- Day-release training takes place at Burnley College
Future Prospects
Support upto Level 4 AAT and potential Chartered Accountancy training.
Vacancy Detail
TaxAssist will train you to prepare & submit accounting & tax information including:
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll
- VAT Returns
- Company Accounts
- Company Tax Computations
- Personal Tax Returns
You will need to handle client queries, identify and resolve issues on own initiative, use IT systems efficiently and maintain neat client files, work as part of close-knit team.
We are a Chartered Practice, and part of a national network, so can provide a wide range of experience and the latest knowhow. Our close-knit team includes recently qualified and existing trainees who can provide mentoring and support. We offer progression onto Chartered Accountancy qualification.
Other Information
Applicants should hold 6 GCSEs at grade 5 or above with a 6 in maths and English. Proven numeracy and IT skills. Workplace experience preferred. Accounting experience desirable. Diligence. Team worker. Customer-service. Honesty. Initiative. Completer-finisher.
