Brief Description
An exciting opportunity to join Meadows Care as a Business Administration Apprentice. You will support the Training, HR and Administration teams with a wide variety of office-based duties whilst gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Training to be Provided
You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship with Rochdale Training.
Your apprenticeship will include:
- Business communication and customer service
- Managing information and business records
- Microsoft Office and business technology

- Business processes and continuous improvement
- Professional behaviours and teamwork
- Data protection and confidentiality
- Minute taking and report writing
- Project support and administration
- Functional Skills in English and Maths (if required)

You will receive regular workplace mentoring alongside dedicated support from Rochdale Training throughout your apprenticeship.

Vacancy Detail
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will become an important member of the Business Support team, assisting with the day-to-day administration of the organisation. You will gain experience across several departments, supporting training, HR and general office operations while developing valuable administrative and organisational skills.
This varied role would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, is highly organised, confident using Microsoft Office and enjoys communicating with people.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Training and Business Manager with a wide range of administrative duties
- Assisting with the coordination and administration of staff training programmes
- Booking training courses, meeting rooms and training venues
- Preparing induction and welcome packs for new employees
- Updating training databases, spreadsheets and learning records
- Registering new starters onto internal training systems
- Maintaining the annual and monthly training diaries
- Recording attendance and updating training matrices
- Liaising with managers, trainers and external training providers
- Collating training feedback and producing reports
- Formatting professional documents, reports, letters and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Taking accurate minutes during meetings whilst maintaining confidentiality
- Answering telephone calls and acting as the first point of contact for staff and visitors
- Providing reception cover and welcoming visitors to the office
- Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to enquiries professionally
- Supporting HR with recruitment administration and onboarding documentation
- Maintaining accurate filing systems and confidential records
- Assisting with diploma administration and maintaining learner databases
- Updating internal databases and company management systems
- Supporting departments across the business with administrative tasks
- Carrying out general office administration as required
