Brief Description
We are seeking to appoint an apprentice to join our team across multiple disciplines, including plumbing, electrical and resistant materials. We are looking for someone with a desire to learn in these trade areas and who will be enthusiastic in supporting our range of learners.
Training to be Provided
- Teaching Assistant Level 3
- Training will take place at University Academy Holbeach, you will receive 6-hours to complete off-the-job training every week
Future Prospects
Potential progression into Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) roles or movement into working within the trades.
Vacancy Detail
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement, under guidance of the teacher
- Support the teacher in delivering practical and theory lessons
- General maintenance of the workshop and machinery
- Prepare the workshops, including tools, equipment and resources for practical sessions
- Ability to handle a large range of power tools in a safe manner
- Ability to manage and monitor consumable materials and place orders
- Assist with behaviour management and promote positive learning
