Content Creator Apprentice

Full Role Description:
Hello, we’re Home Store Living — a leading furniture eCommerce business based in
Newcastle. We’re excited to be opening up a new apprenticeship opportunity for a Content
Creator to join our growing team. If you’re confident on camera, creative with social media,
and interested in online selling, this could be the perfect role for you!
This apprenticeship could be ideal for someone who:
● Has a confident, chatty, and engaging personality
● Feels comfortable speaking to an online audience live on camera
● Enjoys creating content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other online channels
● Has an interest in furniture, home decor, or online retail
● Is enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn new skills
● Wants to develop both creative and commercial skills in eCommerce
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Host live shopping streams (2–3 days a week, around 5 hours per session),
showcasing and selling our range of furniture and home decor
● Engage with a UK-wide online audience in real time, answering questions and driving
sales
● Create content for our social media platforms and online channels on non-livestream
days (short videos, posts, product showcases, promotions)
● Support with running paid promotions and building our online presence
● Learn and apply marketing skills as part of your apprenticeship, including content
planning and campaign support
Requirements:
● Must be over 18
● Comfortable and confident on camera
● Active on social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or similar)
● Creative, talkative, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
● Willing to learn about e-commerce, marketing, and online sales
