Working Week: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm, but you will have 1 day a week at college (TBC).
Brief Description
We are currently looking for candidates who are interested in becoming apprentices and joining the carpentry sector of the building world. This will be a 3-year course where you'll work under the guidance and direction of an experienced carpenter or craftsperson. You’ll carry out all aspects of carpentry from new-built homes to refurbishments.
Training to be Provided
- During this course, you will be attending college once a week with the rest of the week spent on site
- The college course will be 2 years and once it's completed you will gain your Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery and spend the final year as an improver honing your skills
- Functional skills level 2 in English and maths (if required)
Future Prospects
- Once the apprenticeship has been completed, you will be a fully qualified carpenter and have the option to stay on with us as a subcontractor
