Brief Description

Kick-start your career in civil engineering by learning construction techniques, including kerb laying, drainage and pipe installation, site compound setup, and the construction of roads and pavements. This role is based within our Southern region (Kent and E. Sussex) and requires a hands-on approach to physical tasks and site safety.

Training to be Provided

Groundworker Level 2.


Your apprenticeship course will be delivered through CITB National Construction College near Kings Lynn. Time at college will be in blocks and you will be provided accommodation on the college grounds.

Future Prospects

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the right candidate could progress to develop as part of a skilled civil engineering gang. We can offer further training in plant machinery operations, as required, and some of our operatives' progress on to become supervisors.

Other Information

This is an outdoor role, hours are long and it may involve up to an hour travelling each way to work. You will be out in all weathers and full PPE will be provided.
