Brief Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to begin a career in early years education. Our partner is seeking a motivated apprentice who has a genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development. This role offers hands-on experience in a nursery environment while gaining a Level 3 qualification.
Training to be Provided
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Study the Early Years Educator apprenticeship
- Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
Future Prospects
- Learners can use this qualification to go into various care roles
- You can progress onto the advanced apprenticeship and work your way up in the nursery going into team leading and management roles
- You could also use your experience to go into teaching, nursing, midwifery, play work and social work
- There are many directions you can go with your apprenticeship should you wish
Vacancy Detail
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the managers in the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Supervising and supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Liaising with and supporting parents and family members professionally
- Assisting with preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and nursery areas
- Supporting day-to-day operations
- Working alongside experienced staff
- Participating in ongoing training and development
- Attending occasional out-of-hours activities such as staff meetings, training sessions, parents’ evenings, and fundraising events
- Ensuring health & safety policies are followed at all times
- Maintaining confidentiality where appropriate
