Brief Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to begin a career in early years education. Our partner is seeking a motivated apprentice who has a genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development. This role offers hands-on experience in a nursery environment while gaining a Level 3 qualification.

Training to be Provided

During your apprenticeship, you will:



  • Receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited

  • Complete at least 20% off-the-job training

  • Study the Early Years Educator apprenticeship

  • Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment

Future Prospects


  • Learners can use this qualification to go into various care roles

  • You can progress onto the advanced apprenticeship and work your way up in the nursery going into team leading and management roles

  • You could also use your experience to go into teaching, nursing, midwifery, play work and social work

  • There are many directions you can go with your apprenticeship should you wish

Vacancy Detail

Your responsibilities may include:



  • Supporting the managers in the day-to-day running of the nursery

  • Supervising and supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

  • Liaising with and supporting parents and family members professionally

  • Assisting with preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and nursery areas

  • Supporting day-to-day operations

  • Working alongside experienced staff

  • Participating in ongoing training and development

  • Attending occasional out-of-hours activities such as staff meetings, training sessions, parents’ evenings, and fundraising events

  • Ensuring health & safety policies are followed at all times

  • Maintaining confidentiality where appropriate
