Brief Description
Start your career in childcare with an exciting Early Years Apprenticeship at Newbury Gardens Day Nursery. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting children’s learning and development in a warm, nurturing environment, while working towards a recognised qualification.
Training to be Provided
- You will attend college once a week at Tigers Training, the rest of the time you will be working at the nursery
Future Prospects
- After the Level 2 is complete you can go onto the Level 3 Pathway to become fully qualified
Vacancy Detail
- Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Assist with daily care routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and promoting good hygiene
- Help create a safe, stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Observe and record children’s progress, supporting planning and next steps in learning
- Work as part of a team and communicate with parents/carers to ensure each child’s needs are met
Other Information
Satisfactory feedback from at least two references (both Professional and Character accepted)
Completion of a clear enhanced disclosure check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Or are on the Update Service and give permission for The Forbury Group of Nurseries to check the status of your DBS
