Brief Description
You will work full-time at Forbury Gardens Day Nursery, caring for children under the age of 5 and gaining practical hands-on experience. Additionally, twice a month, you will attend lessons to enhance your knowledge and support gaining your qualification.
Training to be Provided
Early Years Practitioner Level 2.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Future Prospects
Learners can use this qualification to go into various care roles. You could progress onto the advanced apprenticeship and work your way up in the nursery going into team leading and management roles. You could also use your experience to go into teaching, nursing, midwifery, play work and social work. There are many directions you can go with your apprenticeship should you wish.
