Brief Description
Begin your career as an Electrical Apprentice working on new build sites across the South West. You’ll gain hands-on experience in 1st and 2nd fix, wiring and installations while attending college on day release. Working 7am - 4pm on site, this is a great opportunity to earn while you learn and progress within G&L Electrical.
Training to be Provided
Domestic Electrician Level 3.
The apprentice will receive practical on-site training Monday to Friday working alongside qualified electricians on building sites around Bristol and Gloucester, with formal training delivered at college one day per week. College attendance will take place at our training provider’s campus during term time.
Future Prospects
Opportunity for continued employment with the company as a fully qualified electrician upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, with further development and progression available.
Vacancy Detail
Work alongside qualified electricians on new build housing developments carrying out:
- 1st and 2nd fix installations
- Wiring domestic properties
- Installing containment
- Assisting with consumer units
- Supporting testing and inspection while learning on the job
Other Information
- Be comfortable working on building sites
- Be able to cope with weather extremes
- Have use of a car and Full UK Drivers Licence
- Be 18 or over (due to insurance purposes)
