Working Week:
Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7.30am - 6.00pm. You will work 37.5 hours per week, to be agreed based on a staffing timetable. Will study time for your apprenticeship planned out and timetabled.
Brief Description
- Working with children from birth to 5 years, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing in early years settings.
- You’ll achieve a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, which is widely respected across the childcare sector.
Training to be Provided
- Training will take place on the job at the nursery setting and masterclasses through the training provider virtually online.

Vacancy Detail
- Support the planning and delivery of activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Assist with observing children and recording their progress.
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment.
- Provide high‑quality care, including feeding, toileting, and personal care.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns to the
- Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards, including cleaning and risk checking areas.
- Support children’s independence, communication, and social development.
- Help set up and tidy away resources, equipment, and learning areas.
- Contribute to daily routines such as mealtimes, sleep times, and transitions.
- Use positive behaviour strategies to support children’s emotional wellbeing.
- Attend training, staff meetings, and complete apprenticeship tasks and portfolio work.
