Brief Description
Want to start your career working with children and making a difference? Little Cherubs are looking for an apprentice required to work in this nursery based in Crewe. You will be involved in all aspects of nursery work and will work with children between the ages of 6 months to 5 years.
Training to be Provided
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Vacancy Detail
This full-time apprenticeship offers the opportunity to work towards completing your Intermediate Level 2 Childcare qualification while gaining hands-on experience caring for children aged 6 months to 5 years. You will be actively involved in the day-to-day activities of the nursery, including supporting play and learning through both indoor and outdoor activities, assisting with feeding and changing routines, and engaging children in creative and educational tasks such as crafts. Your role will also include contributing to the general care and wellbeing of the children, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can thrive.
