Brief Description
A Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship lets you kickstart a career in a professional kitchen. You’ll gain hands-on experience preparing dishes, learn from experienced chefs, and build key skills while earning. It’s an exciting first step into the hospitality industry.
Training to be Provided
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Future Prospects
A full-time position will be appointed to the appropriate candidate.

- Prepare and cook basic dishes under the guidance of senior chefs
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Assist with kitchen organisation, including stock and ingredient prep
