Brief Description

A great opportunity to join the VINCI Facilities team as a Plastering Apprentice. The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of Plastering whilst working towards a level 2 qualification. Trained by experienced staff. Duties will include mixing up, cutting/measuring/fixing boards, skimming, putting beads on, patch plastering etc.

Training to be Provided

The successful candidate will receive full on the job training from experienced colleagues in Plastering and all connected trades. They will attend College one day a week and be visited in the workplace by their assessor to help guide them along the work required. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Future Prospects

This apprenticeship is a fixed term 24 month contract and at the end you will gain a Level 2 Plastering apprenticeship. However, the skills, knowledge and experience gained in this apprenticeship will allow you to gain future opportunities in the sector.

Vacancy Detail

Successful candidates will be expected to:



  • Undertake training in a full range of plastering repairs, maintenance and installation works

  • To carry out routine and planned maintenance

  • Carry out responsive repairs on plastering works i.e. patch plastering, filling channels etc.

  • Installation of plastering works i.e. some properties will need to be taken back to brickwork and then re-plastered throughout and some will need just certain rooms or areas to be plastered or boarded and skimmed

  • Confident to interact with people of all ages and abilities

  • Communicating openly, engaging with customers/residents

You must be able to travel to college and it would be advantageous to be physically fit.
