Brief Description
Little Jigsaw's Children's Day Nursery are looking for 2 new Nursery Assistant Apprentices. You will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship Level 2.

Vacancy Detail
As a Nursery Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a nurturing early years setting, supporting children aged 0–5 while learning on the job.
You’ll work alongside experienced practitioners, helping to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily care routines including feeding, changing, and toileting
- Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest
- Help ensure every child feels safe, happy, and valued
- Support fun, educational activities
- Assist in delivering the EYFS framework
- Observe and record children’s development
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Support hygiene routines and risk assessments
- Work closely with colleagues and managers
- Build positive relationships with parents/carers
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework
