Brief Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Mark Jeffs Hair and Beauty Studios as a Hairdressing Apprentice. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience, learn from skilled professionals, and start your career in the hair and beauty industry.
Training to be Provided
- The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Hairdressing at level 2
- The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course
- This is a Day Release programme, which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only
- This will fall within your contracted working hours
Future Prospects
- After the successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the potential to progress to a Level 3 apprenticeship and/or full-time employment
Vacancy Detail
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Consultation
- Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
- Cut hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks
- Style and finish hair using a range of techniques to create a variety of looks
- Colour and lighten hair using a range of techniques
- Perming hair
- Receptionist skills
- Helping stylist
- General good housekeeping

The start date with the salon will be discussed after the interview process, and the successful applicant will start College in September 2026.
