Brief Description
The Longridge Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship L2 or 3 dependent on prior experience/qualifications.

Vacancy Detail
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and developing a career within early years education.
The successful candidate will work towards either a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship, depending on their prior experience and qualifications. Full training and support will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.
Day-Day Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 years
- Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
- Help plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Support children with daily routines such as mealtimes, hygiene, and rest periods
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion for all children
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
- Observe children and contribute to recording their development
- Work as part of a team to meet the individual needs of children
- Follow all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework as required for the apprenticeship
