Training to be Provided


  • You will attend college training two days per month at Greenlight Safety & Training, where you’ll learn the core skills needed for flooring

  • This includes understanding tools, materials and construction methods, as well as developing strong health and safety awareness

  • You’ll also build your English and maths skills, gain industry knowledge to support your work on-site, and work towards a recognised qualification with support from experienced tutors

Future Prospects


  • After completing this Level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship, you can progress onto a Level 2 Floorlayer Apprenticeship, where you’ll build more advanced skills in areas such as carpet, vinyl, wood, and safety flooring

  • This can lead to a career as a qualified floorlayer working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, with opportunities to progress into specialist roles, supervision, or self-employment as you gain experience
