Training to be Provided


  • Training will take place one day a week at our Colindale Site (NW9)

Vacancy Detail


  • To promote the aims and objectives of the setting

  • To contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff

  • To ensure the setting maintains a high standard of physical and emotional care

  • To ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times

  • To ensure confidentiality of information received

  • Liaise with parents/carers, other family members and staff to help ensure that the particular needs of children are met and that parental choice is considered in terms of care given

  • To keep professional working relationships with parents at all times

  • Strive to safeguard children by working to the organisation’s safeguarding Code of Conduct; ensuring Setting policies and procedures are observed at all times.

  • Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members;

  • To develop your role within the team especially with regard as a key worker;

  • To report accidents immediately to persons in charge and complete relevant paperwork

  • To ensure that the safeguarding of children is paramount at all times

  • To inform the Nursery Manager IMMEDIATELY of any concerns and changes to your DBS. To provide details and personal documentation to update your DBS check every 3 years as well as signing up to the DBS update service.

  • To follow whistleblowing policy to ensure that the children’s safety is your priority

  • To attend training courses when required
