  • Working Week: Apprentices are required to be as flexible as possible to meet the needs of the business. The average working week will be between 30-40 hours, Monday to Friday. Shifts to be confirmed

Brief Description

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting and especially someone passionate in childcare and early years, looking to further their career

Training to be Provided


  • You will gain a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification at the end of the course

  • All training is completed remotely via teams; your tutor will be there to support you throughout and visit your setting

  • Online remote training sessions will take place once every week for the first 8 weeks and they’ll be scheduled in as and when

  • You will complete your Level 3 Paediatric First Aid

  • This Apprenticeship requires dedication, commitment and punctuality for you to be successful

  • This apprenticeship will open doors to a variety of future roles and career paths within the Childcare Sector

  • Training will take place in the workplace

  • You will need to attend online training with your Assessor for 10 days out of your 13-month apprenticeship, for your classroom-based learning and you will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor

  • Paediatric first aid training

Future Prospects

After completion, you will develop into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position upon successful completion
There is also the potential to go into other childcare orientated roles e.g., social work, teaching, managerial roles etc.
