Brief Description
Merrydale Infant School is based locally in Leicester. We are looking for teaching assistants to play a key role in supporting pupils learning and self-esteem as well as the aims of the school. Training to be Provided
- Teaching Assistant Level 3
- A mixture of blended learning in the workplace and taught delivery every other Friday afternoon at the Loughborough College (optional term time only)
- Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor
- On-the-job training
- Off-the-job training
Future Prospects
This apprenticeship would be an excellent first step into any career working in education. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, individuals can move into other school-based positions having experienced working in a vibrant inner-city school.
